“มข. กวาดรางวัลเวที CWIE ครั้งที่ 17! นวัตกรรม AI คัดกรองต้อหินคว้าชนะเลิศ ตอกย้ำศักยภาพนักศึกษาสู่เวทีวิชาการ” (KKU Sweeps Top Awards at CWIE 17: AI Glaucoma Screening Innovation Wins First Prize)
มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นโชว์ศักยภาพด้านวิชาการและนวัตกรรม คว้ารางวัลจากเวทีการประชุมวิชาการและประกวดผลงานสหกิจศึกษาและการศึกษาเชิงบูรณาการกับการทำงาน (CWIE) เครือข่ายสถาบันอุดมศึกษาภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน ครั้งที่ 17 ประจำปี 2569 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 8 เมษายน 2569 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ
โดยผลงานของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นสามารถคว้ารางวัลสำคัญได้ครบทั้ง 3 อันดับ สะท้อนถึงคุณภาพการเรียนรู้ที่ผสานองค์ความรู้กับการปฏิบัติจริงอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
รางวัลชนะเลิศ ได้แก่ผลงาน “ระบบปัญญาประดิษฐ์สำหรับการคัดกรองต้อหินมุมปิดระยะเริ่มต้นโดยการใช้ไฟฉายตรวจตา (AI-Assisted Oblique Flashlight Test for Narrow Angle Screening)” โดย นายธรรศ เดชารัตน์ นักศึกษาคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ซึ่งเป็นการนำนวัตกรรม AI มาประยุกต์ใช้ทางการแพทย์ ช่วยเพิ่มโอกาสในการคัดกรองโรคต้อหินได้อย่างรวดเร็วและเข้าถึงง่าย
รองชนะเลิศอันดับที่ 1 ได้แก่ผลงานวิจัยด้านการเกษตร “การตอบสนองของโครงสร้างระบบรากพริกหวานต่อระดับการใส่ปุ๋ยคอกไก่ในสภาพดินกรด (Andisol)” โดย นางสาวฉณัชสา พรหมเทวา คณะเกษตรศาสตร์ ภายใต้การให้คำปรึกษาของ ดร.วิลาพร จิระอนันต์กุล ซึ่งมุ่งเน้นการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการผลิตพืชในสภาพดินที่ท้าทาย
ขณะที่ รองชนะเลิศอันดับที่ 2 เป็นผลงาน “การลดการใช้พลังงานของหุ่นยนต์ SCARA 4 DOF โดยใช้ CACTO” โดย นางสาวสิริกร ทองไทย คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ภายใต้การดูแลของ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ประมินทร์ อาจฤทธิ์ ซึ่งเป็นการพัฒนาระบบเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพและลดการใช้พลังงานในภาคอุตสาหกรรม
ทั้งนี้ จากข้อมูลการนำเสนอผลงานในเวทีดังกล่าว พบว่าผลงานจากมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นได้รับการคัดเลือกเข้าสู่การนำเสนอในหลายสาขา และมีความโดดเด่นทั้งด้านนวัตกรรม เทคโนโลยี และการประยุกต์ใช้จริง
ความสำเร็จครั้งนี้สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพของนักศึกษาและคณาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานที่ตอบโจทย์สังคมและอุตสาหกรรม พร้อมก้าวสู่เวทีวิชาการระดับภูมิภาคและระดับนานาชาติอย่างภาคภูมิ
Khon Kaen University (KKU) has demonstrated its academic excellence and innovative strength by winning top awards at the 17th Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE) Conference and Competition of the Upper Northeastern University Network, held on April 8, 2026, at Northeastern University.
KKU students achieved outstanding success by securing all three major awards, reflecting the university’s strong emphasis on integrating academic knowledge with practical application.
The First Prize was awarded to “AI-Assisted Oblique Flashlight Test for Narrow Angle Screening” by Mr. Tharat Decharat, a student from the Faculty of Engineering. This project applies artificial intelligence to medical screening, enabling early detection of angle-closure glaucoma in a simple, accessible, and efficient manner.
The First Runner-up went to “Root System Architecture of Sweet Pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) in Response to Levels of Chicken Manure Application under Acidic Soil Condition (Andisol)” by Ms. Chanatsa Promthewa from the Faculty of Agriculture, under the supervision of Dr. Wilaporn Jiraananantkul. The research focuses on improving crop productivity under challenging soil conditions.
The Second Runner-up award was presented to “Energy Consumption Reduction of a 4-DOF SCARA Robot Using CACTO (Combined Approach for Cycle Time and Energy Optimization)” by Ms. Sirikorn Thongthai from the Faculty of Engineering, under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Pramin Acharit. The project aims to enhance industrial efficiency by reducing energy consumption in robotic systems.
This remarkable achievement highlights KKU’s commitment to producing high-quality graduates and impactful innovations that respond to real-world challenges, reinforcing its position as a leading university in the region and beyond.
